i do not do DNIs despite being non-sharing because i LOVE mingling with other people abt my oshi regardless. i absolutely LOVE talking to other people about them, especially if i feel like they "get" the character similar to how i myself see them. to me, being non-sharing means i'm only going to avoid interacting with others' self ship/oc x canon stuff—specifically ONLY that, because some people are characterPs whilst not self shipping with them and i'm cool with those kinds of interactions as well. me being selective mostly just depends on the attitude of the other person. if you're nice and respectful to me then i'd love to continue interacting and sharing with you!however, i want to avoid seeing self shipping as a competition as it goes against the fundamental essence of what self shipping is supposed to be. please do not make aggressive comments or jokes to me about "stealing" or being possessive or competing/etc. i don't vibe with this kind of attitude.i don't cut ties with people i regularly talk to/interact with just over sharing. i'm not that kind of person and i've been on the receiving end of that, so i hope we can give each other the same type of courtesy and respect. please communicate with me. also, i'm not gonna get any new romantics from ES any more so don't be scared about me potentially liking someone you don't share. i'm good with five, that's already plenty lol.
